"I have dedicated this short piece to the mountain bike that L.H. Stevens bought for himself. It is a little composition that should be played with a fluctuating sense of movement...the performer should feel free to illustrate the irregular movement of a mountain bike as it rises and falls over the uneven ground." (François Dupin -- from the score.)
