Brief Review

Stubernic, (pronounced Stew-ber-nick) was dedicated to Stefan and Mary Stuber, two friends of Mr. Ford, who lived and worked for humanitarian aid in Nicaragua. As such, this piece might be described as "friendly" and "pseudo-latin-American".

It's an audience favourite.

Performance Notes
For one marimba with three performers. Should be memorized. Players should use medium to medium hard yarn mallets at the beginning. Players 1 and 2 should use a slightly harder mallet after cadenza.

Dedicated to Stefan and Mary Stubernic.
