This book is sure to help any drum set player who is serious about studying his/her instrument and is an excellent addition to any library.
I have marked this book at level 5 (Difficulty) because I feel:
- first that the book is beyond beginners and isn't suitable for private instruction with young players. The text requires (and will benefit most) a student who has a mature practice routine.
- and second, there are many prerequisite concepts a student must understand before entering this book. For example, this text assumes that a student has a solid grasp of fundamental technique and at least a basic level of skill and coordination.
